Where: Clayton County Water Authority’s Newman Wetlands Center is located at 2755 Freeman Road in Hampton.
Trail Hours: Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The half-mile trail snakes through the wetlands offering visitors a glimpse of numerous wildlife and plant life.
The Learning Center offers an indoor classroom, exhibits and restrooms. A picnic area is also available. No grills, balloons or other plastic decor are permitted.
Parking and admission is free. Free tours are available and reservations are required. To set up a tour, call 770-603-5606.
