ALBANY – His playing days may be over but the accolades for Albany State second baseman Jonathan Logsdon continue to roll in. The Conference Commissioner Association (CCA) announced the 2024 All-American Team Friday and included Logsdon as one of the 48 players selected nationwide.

Logsdon, a Lee County High School graduate, has decided to pursue a career in coaching after completing his college eligibility. With his final season in the books and the new All-American award, Logsdon won the SIAC Player of the Year, earned All-SIAC first team, and the SIAC All-Tournament team. He was named to the 2024 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-Region First- Team. Logsdon was recently named to the 2024 National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) Division II All-American Team and the top second baseman in Division II baseball.

The CCA All-America and All-Region baseball teams are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) from schools playing Division II baseball and were first established in 2007. This is the ninth year the program is solely sponsored by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

On the season, Logsdon hit .460 with a .582 slugging percentage. He scored 74 runs and collected 85 hits during the season, including 20 doubles. Jonathan is also the top-ranked Division II second baseman.
