SYLVESTER — Fredrick Leon Walker, 19, of Sylvester, died on Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Sylvester. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Pentecostal Full Gospel Crusade, in Poulan, Ga. Interment will follow at Shepard Memorial Garden, Sylvester, GA. Rev. Samuel Stokes, Sr. will officiate.

Mr. Walker was born on August 18, 1988, in Worth County, GA. He was educated in the Worth County Public School System. He graduate from Worth County High School in 2007. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Shingler, GA. He worked as a machine operator at HeatCraft, Inc., in Tifton, GA.

Survivors include his parents, Eddie and Barbara Walker of Poulan, GA; two brothers, Corey V. McKeller and DeAngelo Walker, both of Sylvester; two god brothers, Zachary Gibson, and Stephen McGuire both of Sylvester; three god sisters, Shanterria Druitt, Shaunta Rutland, and Tazaneer Rutland, all of Sylvester; a god mother Teresa M. Wilson of Sumner; grandmothers, Earbestine Vickers of Sylvester, and Bernice Holley of Ashburn; grandfather Eddie Lee Holley of Ashburn; and great grandmother, Thelma Walker of Sylvester.
