Carole Anne McWilliams Boone

ALBANY -- The funeral service of Carole Anne McWilliams Boone, 73, of Montgomery, AL, formerly of Albany, GA, who died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at her residence will be conducted Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Morris Gurr and Pastor John Lowry will officiate.

Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery, Albany, GA. A native of Albany, GA, Mrs. Boone had resided in Albany mostof her life until moving to Montgomery, AL, almost two years ago. She was retired from MCLB, was a member of Christian Covenant Church in Albany, GA, before joining St. James United Methodist Church in Montgomery, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Boone and a brother, Buddy McWilliams.

Survivors include three daughters, Kim Singletary and her husband Steve, of Fayetteville, GA, DeeDee Boone, of Smyrna, GA, Lisa Collins and her husband Chip, of Montgomery, AL; a sister, Gayle Mayo and her husband Bryant Mayo, of LaGrange, GA; five grandchildren, Josh Singletary, of Smyrna, GA, Jeremy Singletary, of Jonesboro, GA, Jake Singletary, of Fayetteville, GA, Chase Collins and Cole Collins, both of Montgomery, AL; a niece, Lesley McWilliams, of Albany, GA; and nephew, William Bryant Mayo III, LaGrange, GA.

The family will receive friends today (Monday) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Christian Covenant Church, 1105 W. 2nd Avenue, Albany, GA., 31707 to honor her life as a Christian, mother, sister and friend.

Alice A. Reynolds

ALBANY-- The funeral service for Alice A. Reynolds, 66, of 122 Oakleaf Lane, Leesburg, GA, who died Saturday, July 12, 2008 will be conducted Tuesday, July 15th at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Lorenzo Dotson will officiate with interment to follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native and lifelong resident of Lee County, Mrs. Reynolds was retired from Senah Plantation and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Avery, a brother Joel Avery and her parents, Joe and Lizzie Avery.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky Reynolds and his wife, Tracy and Joel Reynolds, all of Leesburg; a daughter, Patty Lyle and her husband, Clarke of Dandridge, TN; a brother, Dan Avery; three sisters, Bertha Futch and her husband Roy, Annie Presley and her husband James, all of Lee County and Betty Demott and her husband Ronnie, of Albany; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today (Monday) evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
