will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday,
July 22 at Floral Memory
Gardens. Pastor Gary Sanders
officiating.
Mrs. Brown was born on
February 4, 1945 in Lee County, GA.
Survivors include a daughter,
Felicia Rena Brown of
Pasadena, CA; four sisters, Marie
Morris of Albany, Clara Pratt of
San Bernadino, CA, Mary Flynn
of Mobile, AL, and Kate (George)
Green of Albany; three brothers,
Roosevelt (Rosie) Brown of
Leesburg, Otis (Marilyn) Brown
of Smithville, and Fate (Wanda)
Brown of Leesburg; close friend,
Willie Brown of Pasadena, CA;
and a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.

Moore-Morris, 65, of 2200 Clark
Ave., died Tuesday, July 15,
2008 at Phoebe Putney
Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2
p.m. Tuesday at First
Monumental Faith Ministries, with the Rev.
Roosevelt Carter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Floral
Memory Garden Cemetery.
Born on January 15, 1943 in
Sylacauga, AL, Mrs. Morris was
a teacher at Albany State
University. She was a 1960 graduate
of Fair Street High School in
Gainesville, GA, a graduate of
Mississippi State College, where
she received her B.S. degree
and Albany State University,
where she received her masters
degree. She was a member of
First Monumental Faith
Ministries.
Survivors include her
husband, John Morris of Albany; two
sisters, Linda Moore and
Laverne Moore, both of Gainesville,
GA; three brothers, Emmett
Moore (Otha) of Portland, OR,
Lonnie Moore (Sandra) of
Oakwood, GA, and Rickey Moore of
Gainesville, GA; and children,
Patsy Casey of Douglasville, GA,
Sharon Jones of Albany and
John Morris of Palm Beach, FL.
Visitation will be held at the
church on Tuesday from 1 p.m.
until the funeral hour.
