Benjamin Franklin Bell Jr.
DONALSONVILLE We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Benjamin Franklin
Frank Bell, Jr., age 84, of Donalsonville, GA, who passed away at the
Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL, on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring
Creek Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA, with the Rev. Jimmy Dean and Dr. H.
Fred Williams officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the
New Elm Baptist Church Cemetery in Moultrie, GA. Visitation will be held one
hour before the service at 10:00 a.m. at Spring Creek Baptist Church. You may

Mr. Bell was born in Carroll County, GA on February 15, 1924 to the late
Benjamin Franklin, Sr. and Mabel Josephine Barronton Bell. He graduated
Moultrie High School in 1942, University of Nebraska (Omaha) in 1966, and
University of Georgia in 1973 with a Masters Degree in Education. He served
his country during World War II, where he was an Air Force Administrative
Supervisor. He worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State
of Georgia. He was an active member of Spring Creek Baptist Church, where he
served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years, Betty Bell of
Donalsonville, GA; one daughter, Nancy Ballard of New Smyrna Beach, FL; two
brothers, Cohen D. Bell of Perry, GA and Jimmie Bell of Olathe, KS; five
sisters, Hortense Decker of Springfield, GA, Inez McDaniel of Quitman, GA,
Mercerlene Lawrence of Leeds, AL, Iris Southerland of Nashville, GA and
Barbara Jones of Moultrie, GA. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Lara
Karnik and Melody Blue; and six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Blume, Benjamin
Blume, Emily Blume, Kyla Hampshire, Austin Karnik and Keith Karnik.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Franklin, Sr. and Mabel
Josephine Barronton Bell and one brother, David Earl Bell.

Ginger McNease Warren
COLQUITT Ginger McNease Warren, 57, of Colquitt, died Friday, August 1,
2008 at Miller County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Colquitt First Baptist
Church, with burial to follow in Colquitt City Cemetery. The Rev. Max Parris
and Dr. Carl Marshall officiating.
Born on April 3, 1951 in Miller County, Miss Warren was retired from Miller
County High School. She was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church., where
she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class and a former Childrens Sunday
School Class teacher.
Survivors include two sons, Josh Warren of Colquitt and Jason (Joanne)
Warren of Adel; her mother, Laverne (Marvin) Boyd of Colquitt; a sister,
Sherrie (Duren) Williams of Colquitt; two grandsons, Mark Warren and Danny
Warren; and special friend and care giver, Eloise Parkins.
Miss Warren was preceded in death by her father, Lemuel McNease.
Pallbearers are Mike Williams, Michael Probert, Floyd McNease, Ronnie
McNease, James Fudge and W.C. Yates.
