ALBANY Minnie Laquetta
Pafford Cason, 74, of Albany,
passed away Sunday, August 3,
2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial
Hospital.
Funeral services will be
conducted Tuesday, August 5, 2008
a.m. at Morningside United
Methodist Church on Mock Road. The
Rev. Tom Davis will officiate and
interment will follow at 1 p.m. at
Antioch United Methodist Church
Cemetery in Adel.
Minnie Laquetta Pafford Cason
was born on October 1, 1933 in
Adel to the late Carlie and Lola
Crosby Pafford. Mrs. Cason was
a member of Morningside
Methodist Church, where she was
currently serving as Sunday School
Superintendent. She enjoyed
cooking, sewing and spending
time with her family and friends.
Her daughter, Lola Darlene
Cason and two sisters, Eudora
Phillips and Margaret Godwin,
preceded Mrs. Cason in death.
Survivors include her devoted
husband of 56 years, James
Howard Cason of Albany; son,
Barry J. Cason and his wife,
Jenny of Albany; and two
grandchildren, James W. Cason
of Cairo and Caleb R. Walls of
Albany.
The family will receive friends
today (Monday) from 6 p.m.-8
p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral
Home.

Polly A. Neal
ALBANY Mrs. Polly A. Neal,
78, of Tifton, GA, died Saturday,
August 2, 2008 at Phoebe
Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be
Tuesday 2 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern. The
Rev. Jason Jones and the Rev.
Daryl Odom officiating. Interment
will follow in Crown Hill
Cemetery.
A native of Columbia, AL, Mrs.
Neal was a former resident of
Albany for 25 years, where she
attended Beacon Baptist Church.
She has lived in Tifton for six
months and was a member of
New River Baptist Church. Mrs.
Neal was a loving and devoted
wife, mother and grandmother
and will always be remembered
for reading her Bible, acts of
kindness and encouraging words
to those in need.
Survivors include her husband,
Haywood D. Neal of Tifton, GA;
daughters, Merry Kay Neal
Nielsen and her husband Eric D. of
DeLand, FL, and Barbara Ann
Neal Mullinax and her husband
J. of Tifton, GA; five
grandchildren, Sara Nielsen and
Caroline Nielsen of DeLand, FL,
Jerry W. (Jay) Brimberry, III of
Kennesaw, GA, Hayden Mullinax
and Katherine Mullinax, both of
Tifton, GA; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
The family will receive friends
today (Monday) from 6:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern.
