Robin Baucom Broome
ALBANY Mrs. Robin
Baucom Broome, 50, of Lee
County, died Saturday, August 9,
2008 at home surrounded by
family and friends following a
most courageous battle with
breast cancer.

p.m. until 6:00 p.m. today
(Monday, August 11, 2008) at First
Free Will Baptist Church with
memorial services to follow at 6:00

Robin was born May 17, 1958
in Tampa, Florida and moved to

In life, she loved her church, her
family and her friends, but most
of all her Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ.
Interests included traveling
with her family, reading and
starting arts and crafts projects.
She also enjoyed anything to do
with serving and teaching young
people, especially teens.
Robin attended Dougherty
County schools and graduated
from Westover High School in
1976. She then attended Darton
College, Freewill Baptist College
and later in life, Georgia
Southwestern University where
she earned a degree in education
with a focus on high school
mathematics.
Over the years, Robin held too
many jobs to list. It would be
easier to list places she did not
work. The jobs she had include
three that she loved, a chemical
sales person for Pro Chem for
over nine years, instructor and
school owner of Broomes Tae-
Kwon-Do and the last job as a
math teacher at Westover High
School.
Survivors include her husband,
Alan Broome; daughters,

Broome; a beloved son-in-law,
David Ragin; a grandson, Blake
Alan Ragin; mother and father,
Janice and Olen Baucom; a
brother and sister-in-law, Paul
and Ann Baucom; five nieces and
nephews, Hannah, Haley, Aryn,
