Johnny Davis Craig
ALBANY Mr. Johnny Davis Craig, 36, 4817 Folly Dr., Albany, died Friday, August 22, 2008 from a stroke and Marfan Syndrome.
His memorial service will be Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. Mercedes Baptist Church. The family had received friends between 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, August 23 at the residence of Mrs. Earline Lybarger, 1403 Gail Ave. A celebration for John at NA will be scheduled at a later date and time.
Born in Atlanta, Mr. Craig had lived in Albany since 1983. He was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church. He was a member and a counselor with Narcotics Anonymous. He was an avid fan of Star Wars, Wrestling and was a novelist. Mr. Craig loved everybody, he was kind, loved animals and his Lord. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Quincy Davis Ramsey, II and Ray Lybarger.
Survivors include his parents, Susan Darie Lybarger and husband Mark, of Albany, Jack Edward Craig, Jr., of Atlanta; grandparents, Marjorie C. Suydam, of Brandon, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Frances Margaret Glover
AMERICUS Mrs. Frances Peggy Glover, age 74, of 2001 S. Lee Street, died early Wednesday morning, August 20, 2008 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Mrs. Glover was born October 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Samuel Anders Leonard and Claudia Davenport Leonard. She graduated from Americus High School, attended Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, Southwestern College in Americus, and was a member of the DAR. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Americus.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Matt Stewart officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Magnolia Manor Wellness Center, 2001 South Lee Street, Americus, Georgia 31709.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Fran and James Powers of Plano, TX; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Bunny Glover of Valdosta; two sisters, Alice Froelich of Duluth and Claudia Leonard of Americus; five grandchildren, Jamie and Paul Salem of Jacksonville, FL, James M. and Cammie Powers of McKinney, TX, Wes Glover, Chance Glover and Mollie Glover of Valdosta; and one great-grandchild, Tristan Powers of McKinney, TX and a special niece and nephew, Lisa Ralston of Newport News, VA, and Gary Popwell of Columbia, SC, also survive. A brother, Samuel Sammy Anders Leonard, Jr. preceded her in death.

Germaine L. Guillemette
ALBANY Mrs. Germaine L. Guillemette, 69, of Albany, died Friday, August 22, 2008 at her residence.
The funeral mass will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresas Catholic Church, the Rev. Ray Levrault officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Lowell, MA, Mrs. Guillemette lived in Albany the past 31 years where she was previous owner of Jay Wedding Decorations and Design. She was a Girl Scout Leader in Massachusetts She was also members of St. Teresas Catholic Church and St. Michaels. A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Joe Bob) Guillemette and a son, Andre Guillemette.
Survivors include three daughters, Yvette Goodwin and her husband, Jimmy of Leesburg, Lynn Vasquez of Mississippi, and Suzanne Najbrt and her husband, Martin of Atlanta; six grandchildren James Cloud, Heather Osorio, Jennifer Guzman, Raymond Harris Jr., Kevin Preston and Maggie Najbrt; five great-grandchildren, Emily, Mia, Cameron, Arlyn and Timmy; a brother, Robert Castonguay his wife, Diane of Temple, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
A Rosary service will be held Monday 6:00 p.m. and visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern. The family will also receive friends at the residence 211 Patrol Dr., Albany, GA 31705.

ALBANY Lucile Howard, 87, of 223 W. 3rd Ave., died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Albany Health Care.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. John A. Severson will officiate.
Born on September 17, 1920 in Terrell County, Mrs. Howard was retired and a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Sasser. She graduated from Terrell County School System.
Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Howard Nix, Gwendolyn Howard Barnes, Shirley Ann Howard, of Albany; five sons, Willie Frank (Rebecca) Howard, of Rockford, IL, Rufus James (Essie), of Columbia, SC, Kenneth Howard, Salim Madyun, and Adolphus Howard of Albany; and 30 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

TIFTON Zack Ridson Mathews, 86, of Tifton, died Friday, August 22, 2008, at Tift Health Care.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Sunday), August 24, 2008, in the Memorial Chapel of First Baptist Church of Tifton, with Dr. W. Ches Smith, III, and Dr. W. Wayne Roe officiating. The family will receive friends in the church memorial social hall from 2 p.m.-2:30 p.m. today (Sunday).
Born April 28, 1922, in Webster County to the late Joe W. Mathews and Anna Blakey Mathews, Mr. Mathews was also preceded in death by one brother, William Mathews, and two sisters, Clara Spinks and Helen Garland.
Mr. Mathews served in the United States Army, World War II, in the European Threatre of Operations. He retired from Southern Bell Telephone Co. with 41 years of service. Mr. Mathews was a member of First Baptist Church of Tifton and the Kiwanis Club of Tifton.
Mr. Mathews is survived by his wife, Ariene Cannon Mathews of Tifton; one son, Don Mathews of Covington; two daughters, Carol Carr and Barbara Boggs, both of Tifton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Agnes Hurst Willis Snell
HARTSFIELD Agnes Hurst Willis Snell, 81, of 616 Bay Rockyford Road, died Friday, August 22, 2008, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Perry Lamey officiating, assisted by the Rev. George Davis.
Casketbearers will be Bryan Cauley, Lance Entrekin, Michael Bryant, Jim Willis, Darrell Gillis and Jimmy Entrekin.
Honorary casketbearers will be Marty Allen, Jerome Roberts, Buddy Osborn, Bragg Barrett, Neal Smith and Chris Bryant.
Born August 17, 1927 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Seaborn Frank Hurst and Ruby Lorain Martin Hurst. She was adopted and raised by the late Hansell and the Rev. Lois Hurst. Mrs. Snell was a retired seamstress and was a member of Pelham Church of God.
She was first married to the late George David Willis and then to the late James Wesley Snell. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Amburs Hurst and John L. Hurst and six sisters, Edie Ruth Hurst, Lucille Jones, Thelma Parramor, Annie Sue Harvey, Lennie Mae Martin and Pearl Paramore.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Willis and wife Martha of Oglethorpe, GA, Gerald Willis, and Theron Willis and wife Wynette, all of Thomasville; three daughters, Clare Cauley of Gray, GA, Mearian Godwin and husband Ronald of Climax, GA, and Delilah Bryant and husband Alton of Hartsfield; one sister, Dianne Kennedy of Bainbridge; eight grandchildren, Tami Entrekin and husband Jimmy, Tara Gillis and husband Darrell, Cindy Elswick and husband Robbie, Jim Willis, Michael Bryant and wife Angie, Bryan Cauley, Tim Roberts and wife Susan and Marlena Mathis; nine great-grandchildren, Haley Entrekin, Lance Etrekin, Brandon Gillis, Nathan Gillis, Jacob Elswick, Rebecca Elswick, Ethan Elswick, Holly Willis and Dylan Roberts.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
