Thumbs Up! – Oct. 24, 2011

Last Tuesday evening, as many people were just getting home from work or sitting down to the supper table, something big was happening at the Law Enforcement Center in Albany. Six Albany Police Department officers were recognized for their many fine traits and skills, including courage, fairness and the ability to lead. In a ceremony gone unnoticed by most citizens, the officers were promoted for the hard work and unending service to the city. The six and their new ranks are as follows: Deputy Chief Donald Frost, Major Russell Barnes, Capt. Eddie Jones, Capt. Wendy Luster, Lt. Kinshishi Adams and Sergeant Denise Dawson-Barnes. Congratulations!
