ALBANY —The Albany Police Department was called to investigate a church burglary reported Sunday afternoon, officials with the APD say.

Sunnyside Baptist Church, at 320 South Mock Road, is reported to have been broken into at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday.

Someone is thought to have entered an office and removed money from a top desk drawer, police said.

This case is active and has been forwarded to the APD Criminal Investigations Bureau. Anyone with information should call Albany Area CrimeStoppers (229) 436-TIPS (8477).

ALBANY POLICE: Albany Police Department responded to at least 57 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Family violence (unfounded) on the 400 block of Alice Avenue and on the 800 block of Corn Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of West Lincoln Avenue and on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Deceased person on the 700 block of North Jackson Street;

— Theft by taking on the 1000 block of University Street and on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Interfering with a city officer on the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of 18th Avenue and on the 1500 block of Whiting Drive;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 1600 block of Cromartie Beach Drive and on the 1100 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property on the 900 block of Corn Avenue and on the 500 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Battery/family violence on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;

— Theft by receiving stolen property on the 300 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Injured person on the 200 block of Wells Avenue;

— Driving under the influence of alcohol on the 1000 block of Gillionville Road;

— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Following too closely at the intersection of Moultrie Road and Radium Springs Road and on the 2100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Violation of special conditions of bond on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Missing person on the 600 block of 11th Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— No insurance on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 600 block of Sands Drive;

— Simple assault on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;

— Missing juvenile on the 700 block of Barkley Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 30 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Assistance to motorist on the 1200 block of Moultrie Road and at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Holly Drive;

— Unwanted guest on the 1200 block of Stephen Lane;

— Suspicious auto on the 4000 block of Moultrie Road;

— Family violence on the 5400 block of Newton Road and on the 400 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Loud music at the intersection of Grandview Drive and Hidden Lakes Drive and on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;

— Auto accident on the 3500 block of Gillionville Road and at the intersection of Cordele Road and Doles Road;

— Traffic arrest on the 3000 block of Moultrie Road;

— Suspicious person on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road and on the 900 block of Pecan Grove Drive;

— Speeding auto on the 6500 block of Leary Road;

— Traffic stop on the 1200 block of West Oakridge Drive and on the 400 block of Liberty Expressway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 13 calls from Friday to Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, an unauthorized burning, shorted electrical equipment, brush fires, a motor vehicle accident, a rubbish fire and a water leak.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 54 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 48 medical calls and six trauma calls.

The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, eight respiratory issues, five chest pains, four diabetic issues, four seizures, four miscellaneous pains, two cardiac arrests, one stroke, one OB/labor issue, one mental health issue and 14 various medial calls. The trauma calls included five auto accident victims and one assault.
