Seven teens wounded in shooting at early-morning party in Sylvester

SYLVESTER — Sylvester Police and Worth County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on Royal Street shortly after midnight Saturday, responding to a call in regard to multiple shootings at a private party.
Police said more than 100 people were attending the party and that seven teenagers aged 15 to 18 were wounded after a fight broke out and a male suspect began shooting, wounding at least three people. Four others were also wounded. None of the injuries were not considered to be life-threatening, police said.
Sylvester police Investigator Ronnie Gaddy said two minors, ages 15 and 16, were wounded and identified the other five victims as Zytavious Anderson, 17; Shanteria Thomas, 17; Kenyona McKinney, 18; Diamond Hooks, 18, and Quanderia Bently, 18.
Gaddy said the victims were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial and Phoebe-Worth hospitals. All were treated and released.
No arrests have been made in the incident and police are still interviewing witnesses.
