Sherwood Christian Academy to present Willy Wonka Junior
Showtimes are set for tonight and Friday night at 6:30

ALBANY — Sherwood Christian Academy’s theater department will present “Willy Wonka Junior” tonight and Friday night at the school, which is located at 1418 Old Pretoria Road.
The play is a musical Adaptation of “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl, and features 34 cast members from the school’s sixth through eighth graders. Wade Jewell will play the lead role of Willie Wonka. In addition to Jewell, Christian Thompson will play Charlie and Keaton Summerell will take on the role of Grandpa Joe.
Show times are 6:30 p.m. tonight and Friday. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 at the door and $5 for students.
“It is a pleasure to bring Willy Wonka to the stage,” said Director Vickie Knuckles. “We have a cast of 34 talented middle school students presenting this beloved story that kids of all ages will enjoy.”
