ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 16 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Marijuana possession on the 500 block of Don Cutler Senior Drive, the 400 block of South McKinley Street and the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Aggravated assaults on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 1100 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 300 block of Flintside Drive;
— Burglaries on the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 1400 block of Edgerly Avenue;
— Fighting on the 400 block of Gowan Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of South Ingleside Drive;
— Missing person on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Entering auto on the 100 block of Transvilla Parkway;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 2800 block of Partridge Drive;
— Failure to yield on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Cat call on the 1200 block of Moultrie Road;
— Animal bite on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Harassing phone calls on the 2200 block of Antioch Road;
— Auto accident at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road;
— Family violence on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1200 block of South County Line Road;
— Discharging firearms on the 4200 block of Pate Street.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least four incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Auto accident at the intersection of West Mercer Avenue and Davis Street;
— Power line down at the intersection of Wallington Drive and Westmoreland Drive;
— Building fire on the 1600 block of Palmyra Road;
— Gas leak on the 1600 block of Owens Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 59 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included eight respiratory calls, six chest pain calls, four diabetic issue calls, two altered mental state calls, two seizure calls, one labor call, one miscellaneous pain call and 28 various medical calls. Trauma calls included three laceration calls, two assault calls and one auto accident call. Other types of calls included one medical alert call.
