ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 33 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Burglaries on the 300 block of Thornwood Court, the 1400 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 100 block of South Harding Street, the 200 block of West Tift Avenue and the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
— Battery on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue, the 400 block of Lipsey Drive, the 1600 block of Hoover Street, the 600 block of Heard Avenue and the 300 block of Grant Place;
— Thefts by taking on the 1200 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of Bobbitt Drive, the 600 block of Pine Avenue, the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 100 block of Constitution Court;
— Marijuana possession on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of Byron Road and the 1300 block of East Residence Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 700 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 1300 block of West Fourth Avenue;
— Drug paraphernalia on the 2400 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Rape on the 1700 block of South Jackson Street;
— Aggravated assault on the 2600 block of Gillionville Road;
— Missing person on the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Aggravated stalking on the 400 block of Sunset Lane;
— Hit and run on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Entering auto on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Obstruction of an officer on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive;
— Public drunkenness on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Transmitting a false public alarm on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Armed robbery on the 200 block of Nottingham Way.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Suspicious persons at the intersection of Redbud Road and Roxanna Road and the 2600 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 3700 block of Radial Avenue;
— Family violence on the 3000 block of Spring Flats Road;
— Stalking on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Discharging firearms on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious auto on the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— False alarms on the 5900 block of Old Dawson Road and the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— Public service on the 300 block of North Jackson Street and the 1000 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Outside rubbish fire on the 600 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Motor vehicle accident on the 2700 block of Dawson Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 47 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included eight respiratory calls, three seizure calls, two chest pain calls, one stroke victim call, one diabetic issue call, one miscellaneous pain call, one mental health call and 21 various medical issue calls. Trauma calls included three auto accidents, three falls, one laceration and one assault. Other types of calls included one medical alert call.
