ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Battery on the 3000 block of Harvest Lane, the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 900 block of South Cleveland Street, the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue and the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue, the 3400 block of Brookhollow Parkway, the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue and the 200 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue, the 1300 block of 10th Avenue, the 900 block of Cherry Avenue and the 1100 block of West Fourth Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of West Second Avenue and the 1200 block of Maryland Drive;

— Suicide attempts on the 300 block of West Second Avenue and the 300 block of Collins Street;

— Armed robbery on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Littering on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Interfering with officers on the 200 block of North Magnolia Street;

— Robbery by snatching on the 100 block of North Cleveland Street;

— Terroristic threats on the 500 block of Seventh Avenue;

— Burglary on the 400 block of Vicks Street;

— Child restraint violation on the 800 block of North Westover Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 10 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Contact persons on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue and the 1500 block of Grand Cypress Lane;

— Burglary alarm on the 3600 block of Gillionville Road;

— Family violence on the 4800 block of Impala Lane and the 200 block of Paige Street;

— Assault on the 200 block of Paige Street;

— Juvenile problem on the 1200 block of Stephen Lane;

— Miscellaneous call on the 2000 block of Eight Mile Road;

— Theft by taking on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Personal welfare check on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— EMS assists on the 300 block of North Jackson Street, the 800 block of Blaylock Street and the 2500 block of Meredyth Drive;

— Auto accident on the 1800 block of South Madison Street;

— Assist police on the 1500 block of West Third Avenue;

— Excessive heat and scorch burns on the 2200 block of Habersham Road;

— Grass fire at the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Arcing electrical on the 1100 block of Benjamin Avenue;

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 64 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 10 chest pain calls, six mental health calls, three respiratory issue calls, three diabetic issue calls, two seizure calls, two labor calls, two stroke victim calls, one faint call, one altered mental state call and 30 various medical calls. Trauma calls included eight falls, two auto accident victims, two lacerations and two assaults.
