ALBANY — The Albany Police Department is seeking assistance locating a suspect believed to be connected to an entering auto case.

The suspect entered a 2015 Ford F-150 Tuesday parked at the Homerun Foods located at 1105 N. Westover Blvd. and took a large sum of money, according to APD spokeswoman Phyllis Banks.

Detectives have obtained an entering auto warrant against 36-year-old Simon Demond Williams, and they need the public’s assistance in locating him, Banks said.

Anyone has seen Williams or has any information that may be helpful in this case is asked to call Albany Area Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477). The caller may remain anonymous.
