ALBANY — Police responded to a shooting at 309 Tremont Ave. Saturday at 1.29 a.m., according to an Albany Police Department release.

The release states that, upon arrival at the scene, the victim, Joshua Carroll, said he was home with his mother when an unknown person shot several rounds into their home. Carroll said the suspect was believed to be in a dark-colored older model car.

The victim could not provide any further details about the incident, according to the police report. The Crime Scene Unit responded, took photographs and collected shell casings.

The APD release said there is no suspect in this case.

Four arrested for armed robbery

ALBANY — Albany police arrested four suspects after they reportedly took money at gunpoint from an Albany man Saturday afternoon.

A police report says APD officers arrested Desmond Johnson, 24; Aaron Clark, 27; Dondra Williams, 38, and Ashley Clark, 31, at 405 S. Davis St. after the quartet allegedly took money from LaMichael James.

The report said three guns were recovered in a silver Chrysler 300 that the suspects were reportedly driving.

Detectives obtained a search warrant to gather any additional evidence in the case.
