Pace Street block to close starting Wednesday morning

ALBANY — City officials said Tuesday that Pace Street will be closed to through-traffic at the 2200 block beginning at 9 a.m. today.

The work is expected to be completed within a week.

Albany engineering and planning officials said the closure is necessary while workers complete street repairs.

They also advise motorists in that area to be alert to changing traffic conditions and to expect delays. Motorists should use an alternate route if possible.
