Score: 96, Grade: A

Violations: Observed an employee’s drink in the walk in cooler that was not in a disposable cup secured with a tightly fitting lid and straw. PIC removed the drink. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Remarks: Discussed mop sink.

Little Caesar’s Pizza, 1100 N. Slappey Blvd.

Score: 99, Grade: A

Violations: Observed vent above 3-comp sink with dust build up; PIC will have vent cleaned. New Violation. Observed personal food items stored in reach in freezer and walk in cooler; employee removed personal food items. New Violation.

Vegas Global/Brother’s NY Style Pizza & More, 207 E. Oglethorpe Blvd.

Score: 94, Grade: A

Violations: Observed the flour stored in a plastic container not labeled with the common name. PIC will label the container. New Violation. Observed employees not wearing any form of hair restraints. PIC provided hairnets for the employees. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Score: 100, Grade: A

Krystal-ALB001, 713 W. Oglethorpe Blvd.

Score: 93, Grade: A

Violations: Observed ice machine needs cleaning; PIC will have ice machine cleaned. Repeat Violation. Observed tile under 3-comp sink needs repairing; PIC will informed owner. New Violation.

Wendy’s No. 552, 1714 E. Oglethorpe Blvd.

Score: 87, Grade: B

Violations: Observed tomatoes on the prep line being held above 41 degrees Fahrenheit. PIC replaced the tomatoes on the line. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed chicken nuggets below 135 degrees Fahrenheit at the heat lamp not discarded at the correct time of 30 minutes. Employee discarded the nuggets. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce in the walk in cooler not marked with a date of preparation or discard date by which the food must be consumed on the premises, sold, or discarded. PIC place dates on the items. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Remarks: Discussed the key drop policy. Discussed using time as a public health control for the tomatoes on the food prep line.

Score: 94, Grade: A

Violations: Observed no hand soap in the men’s restroom. PIC will place soap in the restroom. New Violation. Observed on lid on the trashcan in the women restroom. PIC will place a lid on the trash can. Repeat Violation.

Remarks: No PHF being prepared at this facility.

Eggs Up Grill, 2818 Old Dawson Road Suite 12

Score: 97, Grade: A

Violations: Observed cloths for wiping counters and other surfaces in the facility that were stored in solution showing 0 QAC chemical sanitizer as evidenced by QAC test strip. PIC to mix QAC chemical sanitizer and routinely use test strips on hand to ensure solution stays within proper ranges. New Violation.

Remarks: Discussed dishwasher with CFSM. He called Ecolab and stated they are scheduled today for dishwasher servicing.
