ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Battery on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 100 block of Dobbs Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 200 block of Frost Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 500 block of Willard Avenue, the 2200 block of South Washington Street and the 600 block of Moultrie Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Burglaries on the 500 block of North Washington Street, the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 100 block of Philema Road and the 900 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Criminal damage to property on the 300 block of Forrestal Lane;
— Assault on the 3900 block of Rodnor Forest Lane;
— Forgery on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Interfering with officers on the 400 block of North Monroe Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 4400 block of Sylvester Road;
— Traffic arrest on the 400 block of Byron Plantation Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Animal running at large on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Suspicious person on the 5600 block of Hill Road;
— Auto accident with injuries on the 500 block of Philema Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of Henson Drive;
— Lost property on the 700 block of the Liberty Expressway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Smoke removal on the 2000 block of Colquitt Avenue;
— Outside rubbish fire on the 6000 block of Jenkins Road;
— Auto accident at the intersection of Palmyra Road and Seventh Avenue;
— Building fire on the 1300 block of South Madison Street;
— Smoke scare on the 3800 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Cooking fire on the 2400 block of Jane Lane.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 52 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday available reports indicate. Incidents included five chest pain calls, four respiratory issue calls, four fainting calls, one stroke call, two diabetic issue calls, one seizure call, one mental health call, one labor call, two unknown problem calls and 20 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included one overdose, four auto accidents and three falls. Other types of calls included one stand-by for AFD and two medical alert activations.
