Arkansas attorney general named RAGA executive committee chair

WASHINGTON – Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr has been named to the nine-member executive committee of the Republican Attorneys General Association.
Arkansas AG Leslie Rutledge was elected chair and Texas AG Ken Paxton as vice chair of the organization.
“I am honored to be elected by my colleagues to lead RAGA during such a consequential cycle in which we have 30 races across the country,” Rutledge said. “Just as I have done in Arkansas, Republican attorneys general will defend the rule of law and serve as the champions of opportunity.
“Whether it is in Arkansas, or across our nation, job creators and hardworking Americans rely on Republican AGs to ensure that the federal government will roll back burdensome regulations.”
In addition to Rutledge, Paxton and Carr, members of the executive committee include Pam Bondi, Florida, past chair, (2014-15); Curtis Hill, Indiana; Derek Schmidt, Kansas; Jeff Landry, Louisiana; Doug Peterson, Nebraska, and Sean Reyes, Utah.
