Americus college and career academy names new CEO

AMERICUS — Ignite College and Career Academy announced this week the appointment of Josh Drew as its new Chief Executive Officer. Drew, who has been an integral part of Ignite since its inception, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the role. He will continue to serve as the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education director, maintaining a dual leadership position.

As the CTAE director, Drew has played a pivotal role in shaping the vision and success of the career academy. His background in education and commitment to fostering students’ growth makes him the ideal candidate to lead Ignite into its next phase, officials with the school said in a news release.

“I am honored to take on the role of CEO at Ignite College and Career Academy,” Drew said. “Since the beginning, Ignite has been a beacon of innovation and excellence in education.
