ALBANY — The city of Albany is giving away trees in honor of Arbor Day on Feb. 17.

The giveaway, which will be part of a day of tree planting, will be held on the 1900 block of East Lakeridge Drive at Lake Cornelia.

The trees will be given away as long as supplies last and will be in 5-gallon containers. Only two trees per vehicle will be allowed, and trees will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Arbor Day tree giveaway celebration will be held from 9-11 a.m.
