Dougherty County police seeking suspect in February shooting incident

ALBANY – A Dougherty County woman initially considered a witness in a Feb. 16 shooting incident is now being sought as a suspect and is wanted on aggravated assault and other charges.

The Dougherty County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 19-year-old Shylicia Johnson, who is a suspected participant in the incident that occurred on the 100 block of SE Rosewood Drive.

Johnson is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and giving false statements, police said.
