ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police responded to at least 18 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 1800 block of Gillionville Road, the 1900 block of Murray Hill Lane and the 700 Georgetown Drive;
— Battery on the 600 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Simple battery on the 1500 block of East Residence Avenue, the 1500 block of Malone Drive and the 500 block of West Society Avenue;
— Possession of marijuana on the 400 block of South Jackson Street;
— Possession of drug-related objects on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Entering automobiles on the 1400 block of East Fourth Avenue;
— Harassing phone call on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 400 block of Heard Avenue, the 1600 block of Krug Street and the 900 block of Crawford Street;
— Suicide attempt on the 2100 block of Cumberland Lane;
— Unlawful use of 911 on the 500 block of Flint Avenue;
— Burglary on the 900 block of West Fourth Avenue;
— Terroristic threat and acts on the 1300 block of Madison Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of Lumpkin Street;
— Auto accidents on the 500 block of Southgate Avenue and the 2000 block of Moultrie Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Sylvester Highway and the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Suspicious persons on the 1500 block of Skylark Lane and the 3800 block of Coakley Avenue;
— Loud music on the 2500 block of Imperial Street;
— Animal call on the 500 block of Tallahassee Road;
— Traffic arrest at the intersection of Leary Road and Newton Road;
— Auto accident with injuries at the intersection of Leary Road and Newton Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accident at the intersection of North Maple Street and Cordell Avenue;
— Power line down on the 2100 block of Tomkins Avenue;
— Gas leak on the 1600 block of Gadsden Drive;
— Building fire on the 2300 block of Gleneagles Drive;
— EMS assist on the 1200 block of Westwood Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 59 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, two abdominal pain calls, three unknown problem calls, one fainting call, one stroke call, one diabetic issue call, three seizure calls, two altered mental state calls, two cardiac arrest calls and 18 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included one overdose, seven auto accidents, five falls and one fire. Other types of calls included one stand-by for APD and two medical alert activations.
