ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Arson in the first degree on the 1000 block of Blakely Court;
— Criminal trespass on the 2300 block of Dervan Street, the 300 block of Grant Place and the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Theft by taking on the 300 block of Carriage Lane;
— Forgery on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 300 block of West Second Avenue;
— Public indecency on the 1500 block of South Madison Street;
— Loitering on the 1100 block of Newton Road;
— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of Cotton Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of Cotton Avenue;
— DUI on the 500 block of Radium Springs Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 12 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Auto accident with injuries on the 2200 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Fraud on the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road;
— Family violence on the 4800 block of Hill Road, the 1400 block of South Mock Road and the 3000 block of Dunwoody Drive;
— Burglary, residence, on the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Auto accidents on the 1600 block of Lily Pond Road and the 300 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Assist motorist on the 2800 block of Banks Avenue;
— Traffic stops on the 1400 block of South Mock Road and the 2600 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Accident hit and run on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 28 calls on Monday, the early hours of Tuesday and over the weekend, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Motor vehicle accidents on the corner of South Mock Road and Moultrie Road, the corner of South Slappey Boulevard and West Highland Avenue, the 1000 block of Davidson Drive, the 1600 block of Lily Pond Road and the corner of North Westover Boulevard and Gillionville Road
— Medical assists/EMS calls on the 3100 block of Wax Myrtle Lane, the 600 block of North Washington Street, the 500 block of Odom Avenue, the 500 block of Willard Avenue, the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue, the 2700 block of Ledo Road, the 2600 block of Cardinal Street, the 3000 block of Meadow Court, the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue, the 1800 block of Oak Glen Lane and the 1900 block of Buck Lane;
— Forest/woods/wildland fire on the 1100 block of Centennial Avenue;
— Cooking fires on the 300 block of Vintage Road and the 2300 block of Dominion Court;
— Unauthorized burning on the 4400 block of Stagecoach Road;
— Grass fires on the 2400 block of Gillionville Road and the 3900 block of Ipswich Road;
— Power lines down on the corner of Cotton Avenue and South Front Street and the 2700 block of Palmyra Road;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 2600 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Building fires on the 1000 block of Blakely Court;
— Extrication of victim on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 60 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included four chest pain calls, 12 respiratory issue calls, 20 general sickness calls, two fainting calls, one OB call, three abdominal pain calls, one unknown call, one well person check call, three abnormal behavior calls, four cardiac arrest calls and one medical call. Trauma calls included two auto accidents, two falls, one laceration and one traumatic emergency. Other types of calls included one local transport and one air medical transport.
