Darrell Ealum: Your kind of politics is the kind of stuff that was expected … in Chicago … in the 1940s.

Congratulations to the lady in Texas who won $1.2 million on the Kentucky Derby. What a windfall. Maybe she won’t have to sue Starbucks now.

I don’t believe Democrats are really Democrats. I think they are communists in disguise, determined to destroy the United States.

Darrel Ealum has been practicing sleazy politics since he’s been in office. It’s time he was removed. Go CaMia.

Some people have no problem expressing their opinions. Guess what: I have opinions, too, and the next time I meet you I might express some of them to you.

Sherrell Byrd or Victor Edwards. Either one of them has to be a lot better choice than John Hayes.

The postal workers at the Lafayette station are too lazy to put the American flag on the pole each morning. Perhaps they are Democrats.

I sure hope it’s not too late to open up the Grand Island golf course.

It’s amazing that, now that Trump’s sordid past is catching up with him, his supporters are saying, “We only care about what he does now.” These are the same hypocrites who continually complained about President Obama’s past.

Russian bots on Facebook have censored conservative news on Facebook.

John Hayes, Gloria Gaines, Anthony Jones and Clinton Johnson have played the race card so much throughout their sorry excuse for leadership that it makes me ashamed to be an African-American man. We need better leadership in this community.

Darrrelllll … Can you feel those ethics hounds breathing down your neck?

No collusion, no obstruction of justice, no investigation. Just a big waste of taxpayer money. Now can we move on and look for real criminals?

I don’t know about other sports fans around here, but this Atlanta Braves team is one of the most exciting to watch that they’ve had in Atlanta for quite some time. They may end up falling apart as this year continues, but this is a team of the future.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the Dougherty County Commission is leading this community toward a calamity like nothing we’ve ever seen here? It’s not just that they’re embarrassing, they’re threatening the future of some 100,000 people.

I appreciate Chauntel Powell’s abilities when she covers sports. Her attempts at social commentary in her columns, though, are making me not want to read anything she writes. We get enough of that stuff in the news … and in the Squawkbox.

Just to be a savvy shopper, when my auto and homeowners insurance came due, I checked other companies. I found that once you reach 70, you are “treated like a teenager” when it comes to premiums. That is what two very visible companies (because they have fancy new buildings) gleefully told me. So, all you good, almost 70-something citizens who have paid taxes and insurance premiums for years and made these companies very very rich, take notice — dump them. Wonder if President Trump has this problem.
