ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 33 calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— Burglaries on the 700 block of Johnson Road, the 2500 block of Schley Avenue, the 2300 block of Katy Court and the 900 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Aggravated assaults on the 600 block of West Highland Avenue and the 2100 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 800 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Simple batteries on the 900 of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1400 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Theft by taking on the 2500 block of Wexford Drive, the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, the 1300 block of Gillespie Avenue, the 200 block of Old Cordele Road, the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 900 block of Rosedale Avenue;
— Criminal trespasses on the 200 block of Lockett Station Road, the 800 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 800 block of West Highland Avenue, the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 300 block of West Highland Avenue and the 1100 block of Augusta Drive;
— Giving false name, address or birth date to law enforcement on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Battery on the 1400 block of East Residence Avenue;
— Entering automobiles on the 600 block of Partridge Drive, the 300 block of Merritt Street, the 600 block of Partridge Drive and the 900 block of Clark Avenue;
— Hit and run on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Simple assault on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Electronic transmission/post of video or photo depicting nudity on the 400 block of South McKinley Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least nine calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— Traffic arrest on the corner of Moultrie Road and Liberty Expressway;
— Auto accidents on the corner of Moultrie Road and Honeysuckle Road, the 5000 block of Van Cise Lane and the corner of Liberty Expressway and Broach Avenue;
— Family violence on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 2200 block of Duitman Road and the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 3600 block of Plumcrest Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of South Westover Boulevard.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:
— Auto accident on the 1500 block of Newton Road;
— Unauthorized burning on the 1100 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Cooking fires on the 2600 block of Boynton Lane and the 1600 block of Sunny Lane;
— Medical assistance on the 1800 block of Melrose Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 67 calls on Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. The medical calls included five chest pains, four respiratory issues, four abdominal pain/problems, one allergic reaction/sting, one back pain, one headache, four unknown/man down calls, 22 general sicknesses, four faintings and one diabetic call.
The trauma calls included six auto accidents, four falls, one laceration, three assaults, one traumatic injury and one heat/cold exposure. The other calls included two stand-by community events and one local transport.
