ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— Entering autos on the 1200 block of South Davis Street and the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Children in need of services on the 1300 block of Colquitt Avenue and the 1600 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Simple batteries on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue, the 300 block of Slater King Drive, the 400 block of Heard Avenue and the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue and the 700 block of Johnson Road;

— Criminal trespasses on the 1700 block of Gadsden Drive, the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 200 block of South Valencia Drive and the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Cruelty to animals on the 900 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Aggravated battery on the 2500 block of Habersham Road;

— Thefts by taking on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 1300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Deceased person on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Traffic arrests on the 1600 block of Maryland Drive and the 700 block of Cotton Avenue;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of Slater King Drive;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2400 block of Clark Avenue;

— Battery on the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The incidents included:

— Theft by shoplifting on the 4800 block of Hill Road;

— Abandoned auto 2300 block of Pendleton Street;

— Disorderly conduct at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Blaylock Street;

— Auto accident at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Jefferson Street;

— Suspicious people on the 1800 block of Oakhaven Drive, the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1800 block of Oakhaven Drive;

— Suspicious auto on the 7800 block of Newton Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department shift report was unavailable on Wednesday.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 61 calls on Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. The medical calls included one allergic reaction/sting, two chest pains, nine respiratory issues, 22 general sicknesses, one stroke, one diabetic issue, one OB call, one seizure, three abnormal behaviors/suicide attempts, one cardiac arrest/death and one other medical call.

The trauma calls included five auto accidents, eight falls and two assaults. Other calls included one transport and two medical alert activations.
