ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 21 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Simple battery on the 600 block of Stadium Drive and the 600 block of Swift Street;
— Entering autos on the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue and the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Deceased person on the 700 block of North Jackson Street;
— Burglaries on the 1800 block of Seay Court and the 1000 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Discharging firearm on the 200 block of Elm Street;
— Possession of marijuana on the 2600 block of Gillionville Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive, the 1800 block of Gadsden Drive and the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 2300 block of Meadowbrooke Lane and the 300 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Pedestrian under the influence on the 1000 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Criminal damage to property on the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive;
— Runaway juvenile on the 500 block of Swift Street;
— Armed robbery on the 700 block of Radium Springs Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least five calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Suspicious person on the 4700 block of Stage Coach Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 1900 block of Hancock Road;
— Auto accident on the 3000 block of Clark Avenue;
— Missing person located on the 2000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Burglary of a residence on the 500 block of South Gate Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Building fires on the 1100 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— EMS calls on the 200 block of North Broadway Street, the 2200 block of Schley Avenue and the 2100 block of West Waddell Avenue;
— Arcing, shorted electrical on the 100 block of Cordele Road;
— Unauthorized burnings on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway and the 1200 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Motor vehicle accident on the corner of Westgate Drive and Lake Park Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 55 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three abdominal pain/problem calls, one lift assist call, one headache call, one well person check call, four chest pain calls, 11 respiratory issue calls, 10 general sickness calls, one faint call, two altered mental status calls, two stroke calls, one OB call, two seizure calls, one abnormal behavior/suicide attempt call, three cardiac arrest/death calls and one various medical call. Trauma calls included two auto accidents, five falls, one laceration and one burn victim. Other calls included one standby for APD and one standby for the Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
