ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Thefts by taking on the 500 block of Jefferies Avenue and the 100 block of Allen Avenue;

— Aggravated assaults on the 100 block of South Front Street and the 700 block of North Jackson Street;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of South Harding Street and the 2800 block of Somerset Drive;

— Burglaries on the 600 block of Cotton Avenue, the 2400 block of Stuart Avenue, the 500 block of Odom Avenue, on Penny Lane and the 1900 block of Colquitt Avenue;

— Rape on West Fourth Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Wadkins Avenue and the 700 block of Cason Street;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 2400 block of Westgate Drive and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Discharging firearms on the 300 block of South McKinley Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least six calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 2000 block of Eight Mile Road, the 2900 block of Tarva Road and the corner of the Liberty Expressway Southeast and Jefferson Street;

— Drunk person on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;

— Wanted person on the 3000 block of Sylvester Road;

— Assist motorist on the 500 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 13 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Heat from short circuit on the 6000 block of Elliot Drive;

— Motor vehicle accidents on the corner of West Highland Avenue and South Davis Street, the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 600 block of East Broad Avenue and the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive;

— Animal rescue on the 2200 block of Arrowood Drive;

— Power line down on the 500 block of South Jefferson Street;

— EMS calls on the 1600 block of Gardner Drive;

— Building fire on the 1900 block of Edgerly Avenue;

— Outside rubbish or trash fire on the 2000 block of Coves Court;

— Passenger vehicle fire on the corner of Highland Avenue and South Madison Street;

— Arcing, shorted electrical on the 2700 block of Gillionville Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 63 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, two abdominal pain/problem calls, one allergic reaction/sting call, one back pain call, one unknown/man down call, one well person check call, six respiratory issue calls, 18 general sickness calls, two faint calls, three diabetic issue calls, one OB call and one cardiac arrest/death call. Trauma calls included 10 auto accidents, six falls, two lacerations and four assaults. Other calls included one medical alert activation.
