Duke freshman guard Tre Jones, sidelined since injuring his right shoulder on Jan. 14, is probable to play Saturday against Georgia Tech, coach Mike Krzyzewski said Friday.

“He has really progressed well and hopefully he will be ready to go on Saturday,” Krzyzewski told Duke broadcaster David Shumate.

Jones suffered an AC joint separation in the team’s overtime loss to Syracuse and missed the two following games. Without him, Duke beat Virginia and Pitt.

On the season, Jones is averaging 8.1 points and 5.7 assists per game.

The No. 2 Blue Devils are 16-2 on the season.
