Albany area law enforcement agencies, U.S. Marshals Service make three arrests

ALBANY – Local and federal law enforcement officers made three arrests, including that of a suspect in an April shooting at an Albany nightclub, during a Monday operation in the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive.

Shannon Meekal McLloyd Jr., 22, had eight outstanding arrest warrants related to the shooting.

Also arrested were Raytron Lenard Lane, 26, who had outstanding warrants in Clay County, and Sha’rod La’craig Hawkins, 27, who was charged with possession of marijuana.

The Albany Police Department, U.S. Marshals Service and the Albany-Dougherty Special Investigative Unit participated in the operation.
