MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE-ALBANY — Local stakeholders joined Marine Corps officials and other state and military leaders at a recent ribbon-cutting event for the unveiling of a new ground fuel station at MCLB-Albany.

“We now have bulk fuel ability to continue our mission,” Base Commander Col. Matthew McKinney said at the ribbon-cutting.

The purpose of the event, Marine officials noted in a statement, was to provide an opportunity for Logistics Support Division to present the new station to the command and other tenants. All attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility immediately after the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
