Alley west of Hobson Street closed for sanitary sewer project

ALBANY — Officials with the city of Albany said that an alley will be closed over the next two weeks to allow room for work on a sanitary sewer project.
Officials said the alley located west of Hobson Street is closed and will be reopened on March 8.
“The alley closure is needed to give access to contractor’s trucks working on the Eastside Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Project,” a media advisory from the city, said.
The advisory said all other alleys in the area will remain open.
