Portland Jones (6) of Deerfield-Windsor’s 5th and 6th grade Knights scored the team’s first touchdown in the third quarter Thursday against Brookwood. A few plays later, Jones intercepted a Brookwood pass and returned it to the end zone, giving the Knights a 14-6 lead over the Warriors. After Brookwood tied the game, quarterback Walker Dowden connected with James Currington for a 60-yard touchdown pass with 21 seconds remaining, lifting the Knights to a 20-14 victory.
