Albany microbrewery Pretoria Fields has been offering up its beers for a year and a half now. Locally brewed and distributed, the company earlier this year was selected for inclusion for all Publix and Whole Foods stores in the state and into Alabama. On Wednesday, brewer Travis Slaughter walked a reporter through the brewing process of turning grains and water into the sugars that in a couple of weeks, with the help of yeast, will be converted to its Skywater beer in downtown Albany.
