ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 40 incidents Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Deceased person on the 500 block of Colquitt Avenue;

— Drug overdose on the 1300 block of Lee Street;

— Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 1100 block of Gillionville road;

— Motor vehicle theft of a blue 1988 Chevrolet on the 1200 block of Lee Street;

— Theft by taking on the 700 block of Westover Boulevard;

— Wanted for parole violation on the 1300 block of Residence Avenue;

— Missing person on the 600 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Deposit account fraud, 10 altered checks on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft by taking 28 gold bracelets from a jeweler on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft by taking a refrigerator and stove from a vacant property;

— Theft by taking a handgun from a residence on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

— Entering auto on the 1400 block of Cromartie Beach Drive;

— Burglary on the 400 block of Alice Avenue and the 1200 block of Colquitt Avenue;

— Assault (family violence) on the 100 block of John Street;

— Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 1400 block of Whitney Avenue and the 600 block of North Haley Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 30 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Criminal trespass/harassing phone calls on the 1200 block of Nixon Drive;

— Theft of more than $500 worth of scrap metal from a bin on the 3000 Block of Clark Avenue;

— A bicycle overturned injuring the bicycle driver and the passenger seated on the handlebars. Both were taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital from the crash location on Moultrie Road.

— Burglary, theft of a Pro Scan 32-inch flat screen television from the 600 block of Heartwood Lane;

— Motor vehicle theft of a 2004 Ford F-150 from a yard on the 300 block of Pinson Road. The pickup was found burned on the 4900 block of Leary Road;

— Accidental injury, a stack of pallets holding paper products fell on three employees at Excell Logistics on the 1500 block of Power Lane. The employees were taken to Phoebe Putney memorial Hospital and treated for minor, non-life-threatening injuries;

— Domestic violence (verbal) on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 79 calls on Thursday. There were 47 medical calls, 28 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included, six chest pains, five respiratory problem, two diabetic complaints, one seizures, four mental problems, five miscellaneous pain calls, three cardiac arrests, two stroke symptoms and 19 various medical. Trauma calls included 15 vehicle crash injuries, nine falls, one laceration, one gunshot and two bites. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 27 calls including:

— Three animal rescues, nine active alarms, hazardous light fixture removed, chemical leak, public service, fire safety program, motor vehicle crash, three EMS assists, three false alarms, outside equipment fire, stalled elevator rescue, brush fire and a fire caused by unattained cooking that caused $7,500 in damage to a stove, wall and ceiling.
