Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College presents Run for the Nurses

TIFTON — The annual Run for the Nurses 5K and half-marathon will be held on Oct. 29 at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the ABAC Agricultural Sciences Building on Perimeter Road.

To participate in the 5K run, the cost is $35. Price will increase to $40 on Oct. 28-29. The cost for the half-marathon is currently $65 and will increase to $70 on Oct. 28-29.

All proceeds will benefit the ABAC School of Nursing and Health Sciences Lisa Purvis Allison Scholarship Fund.

ABAC offers both an associate of science in Nursing degree, which is needed to take the Registered Nurse certification examination, and the bachelor of science in Nursing degree, in which all of the courses are online and no clinical is required.
