ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 34 incidents Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Simple battery on the 1200 block of Van Deman Street;
— Disorderly conduct, fights, on the 800 block of Frotscher Street and the 500 block of Swift Street;
— Burglaries on the 900 block of Riley Street, the 2500 block of Beach View Drive, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 300 block of Slater King Drive;
— Theft by taking a wallet on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Aggravated assault on the 800 block of Holland Drive;
— Theft by taking an air conditioner on the 1200 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 2000 block of Beach View Drive;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 100 block of Swift Street;
— Wanted persons on the 400 block of Clark Avenue and the 200 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault (family violence); a wife received a small cut wound to her cheek from her husband on the 200 block of Mitchell Avenue;
— Assaults (family violence) on the 700 block of Corn Avenue, the 800 block of West Cotton Avenue and the 2900 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Domestic violence on the 1400 block of Lee Street;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 100 block of Collins Street;
— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 600 block of West Society Avenue and the 800 block of Cotton Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 60 calls on Monday. There were 41 medical calls, 15 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included two chest pains, one respiratory problem, one person fainted, two weakness calls, three diabetic complaints, one seizure, three mental problems, eight miscellaneous pain calls and 20 various medical calls. Trauma calls included three vehicle crash injuries, eight falls, an eye injury, two lacerations and one fight/assault.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least 10 calls Monday, according to reports. Deputies responded to incidents including:
— Burglary; theft of $1,850 in jewelry on the 1800 block of Philema Road;
— Burglary; theft of a $350, .38-caliber revolver, an $800 Smith & Wesson 12-gauge shotgun and a $1,500 Ruger 77 243 rifle on the 200 block of Kinchafoonee Creek Road;
— Disturbance on the 1800 block of Philema Road;
— Wanted persons on the 1500 block of U.S. Highway 19 and the 1400 block of U.S. 19;
— Theft of a 1965 truck on the 1600 block of Georgia Highway 195;
— Recovered property, a 1999 Ford F-250 truck, on the 1400 block of U.S. 19;
— Death investigation, a natural death, on the 100 block of Kristen Court;
— Entering an auto; theft of a $250 iPod on the 1400 block of Lover’s Lane Road;
— Entering an auto on the 100 block of North Hampton Drive.
