What sets this pulled pork apart from others is the sauce. We absolutely loved it. It tastes more like a honey mustard BBQ sauce. After cooking in the slow cooker, our pork loin just fell apart. We barely needed forks to shred it. We served the pulled pork on a sandwich and it was fantastic.
Ingredients
- 3-5 lb pork roast
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp poultry seasoning
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c water
- 24 oz prepared yellow mustard
- 1 c butter, not margarine
- 1 c apple cider vinegar, no substitutions
- 3/4 c white sugar
- 1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2-1 tsp black pepper
