Dougherty Schools announce Hugh Mills football dates

The Douhgerty County Schools athletics department released an updated schedule for the coming football season for the city’s three high schools that play home games at Hugh Mills Stadium.

The football season at Hugh Mills will begin on August 9 when they Dougherty Trojans wills scrimmage against Druid Hills. Westover will follow with a scrimmage against Calhoun County on Thursday, August 15 and Monroe will host a scrimmage against Miller County the following night. All games will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The regular season will begin at Hugh Mills on August 23 when the Cook County Hornets come to play Westover.

The three rivalry games will be September 6 when Westover plays Monroe, September 27th when Monroe plays Dougherty and October 25 when Dougherty plays Westover.’
