ALBANY, Ga. — Getting to the new Walmart Supercenter in East Albany won’t be a problem for riders of Albany city transit system.

The city is opening a new route — the Silver Line — that will make runs between the discount store and the transfer station every half hour.

City officials say there will be no other stops along the way for the Silver Line, which will operate daily 5:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

the store is scheduled to open Wednesday.
