Deerfield-Windsor players and coach named All-State

Six Deerfield-Windsor Knights earned All-State honors after winning the GIAA Class AAA State championship.

ALBANY – Six Deerfield-Windsor football players and Head Coach Jake McCrae were recently honored by the GIAA for earning All-State awards after the Knights won the state football championship this season.

Deerfield-Windsor’s All-State players are (from left) left tackle Cleland McCrae, left guard Cooper Harris, wide receiver Gabe Daniel, quarterback Lane Sceals, linebacker Liam Elliot, and running back Cole Jones.

DWS Head Coach Jake McCrae (right) was named the GIAA Class AAA Coach of the Year after leading the Knights to a 10-3 season and a state title. McCrae completed his fifth season as Head Coach for the Knights. He is pictured with his son Cleland McCrae who plays left tackle for the Knights.
