Squawker, Habitat for Humanity does not provide “welfare homes,” as you put it. Applicants must undergo an eligibility process that includes proof of steady income, ability to meet an affordable monthly mortgage, and agreement to partner with Habitat in “sweat equity,” working on the project for a prescribed number of hours. It’s about a hand up, not a handout.
Lorenzo Heard, Gloria Gaines, Victor Edwards and Clinton Johnson went trick-or-treating as themselves. They scared a lot of people, especially when they tried to take people’s wallets out of their pockets.
Long dead was the America of the pursuit of liberty and freedom from fear and oppression. The body never recovered, but the horrifying stench of its decomposition stifles in clouds of college violent hatred protest, cities of filth and of criminal refuge. The once fruitful sense of nation and hope rotted to the root. Suicide, I surmise.
What’s amazing is that 75,000 people will allow crooked politicians to continue to fleece them without a word of complaint. You put these crooks in office; you can vote them out. I hate to tell you, but this JUST-US crap that’s being sold is foolishness. We all bleed red and spend green.
Vote yourself a tax cut — just say no to T-SPLOST.
I miss Dick Yarbrough. Is he still writing or just no longer in The Herald?
You want to take home more of the money you earned? You want improved infrastructure on our state and federal roads? You want to quit giving your money to people who are too sorry and lazy to work for a living? You want to see America become a world power again? Just be a part of putting the True President back in office where he belongs.
The secret of getting ahead is getting started.
It’s people who have plenty of money, who don’t care if others in their county get benefits, that oppose T-SPLOST and SPLOST. They want you to vote against it because they don’t want to see improvements for anyone but themselves.
I’m sure I speak for a lot of people in Dougherty County when I say we’d be much better off if we had people like Jeff Sinyard and Art Searles as part of our leadership … the key word there being “leader.” The clowns we have now are an embarrassing collection of self-deluded nothings out only for themselves.
Mr. Trump supporter: You actually are invested in Trump’s life as evidenced by your insistence that you aren’t, and then making counter accusations. Hopefully, one day you and the rest of Cult 45 will move past denial.
True President squawker: You are so deluded. Only a person without an ounce of self-esteem would be so struck by another man, a man, it should be noted, who is little more than a criminal. That’s what you think is a person who deserves to lead our country? You definitely are a pathetic excuse for a human being. I pity you.
The squawker writes that they cannot believe so many people were hoodwinked by Heard. Let’s see if you can stretch your imagination a bit further. How did so many people allow themselves to be hoodwinked by Trump? How are so many still drinking the Kool-aid?
