Monroe defensive back Talaun Jones signed his national letter of intent to play college football Wednesday morning in a ceremony at Monroe High School. Southeast Missouri State University, located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and it is a Division I school that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Redhawks finished 4-8 this season.

Jones is the son of Tiffany Kimble and Tellies Jones.
