ALBANY — Dougherty County is now accepting 2025 property tax payments, and the Dougherty County Tax Collections and Tags Office will extend office hours beginning Monday through Jan. 2 to better accommodate taxpayers.
The extended hours are intended to assist residents who wish to submit payments before the end of the calendar year and apply them as a 2025 federal income tax deduction. The temporary schedule adjustment is designed to increase accessibility and reduce wait times during this high-volume period.
Taxpayers are encouraged to plan accordingly and contact the Tax Collections and Tags Office with questions regarding payment methods, office hours or account information.
