“I hope all area teachers recognize and will utilize the recently completed mission to Pluto as the wonderful teaching tool that it is. This year’s seniors were in the third grade when the mission started. Think of the challenging math, science, and technology lessons that can be generated. Think of the creative writing, art and history lessons. One Pluto year equals the entire history of the United States. Don’t let this opportunity pass our students by. Teach and learn.”
