ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 44 incidents Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft by taking on the 2200 block of Tompkins Avenue, the 100 block of 100 South West Road, the 500 block of South McKinley Street, the 1400 block of Jones Avenue and the 2100 block of Evergreen Drive;
— Burglary on the 600 block of South Jackson Street, the 1900 block of Buck Lane, the 900 block of First Avenue and two calls on the 800 block of Moultrie Road;
— Sexual battery on the 900 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2500 block of Canterbury Court and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Gas drive off on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
–Two pit bulls without collars and rabies vaccinations on the 800 block of South McKinley Street;
— Custodial sexual assault on the 600 block of 11th Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1500 block of Palmyra Road and the 500 block of Bobbitt Drive;
— Injured person, dog bite on the 800 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Deposit account fraud on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Child molestation on the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue;
— Injured person 1100 West Broad Avenue;
— Missing juvenile on the 1400 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Aggravated sodomy on the 600 block of Kingsbury Court;
— Assault (domestic) on the 200 block of North West Road;
— Domestic on the 1800 block of South Madison Street;
— Battery on the 1600 block of Gadsden Drive;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 1900 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 2300 block of 12th Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 57 calls on Tuesday.
There were 46 medical calls and 11 trauma calls. Medical Calls and trauma calls included but were not limited to 14 respiratory issues, three mental health calls and 10 vehicle crash victims.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to eight incidents, including two activated alarms, a trash bin fire, a motor vehicle crash, two grass fires and two false alarms.
